Watercolor Landscapes YouTube video

I just published my fifth YouTube artwork video. This one has watercolor landscapes of barns, flowers and other paintings with music by Mark Saunders of Mad Agnes. I finished this commission last week. Now I am starting my first cat portrait featuring a long haired beauty and a potted plant.

I started this painting in June, 2008. I used a photocrom print from Commons Wikimedia, taken between 1890 and 1905. I found better photos but they were not available. I really wanted the view with the mountains and most of the photos show the other side of the castle, or were private or expensive. The castle is in Bavaria, Germany and was used as the model for the Disney castle. I was compelled to paint it as soon as I saw it. I finally finished it over the last week, in a different size and shape than originally started. I may do another one where I hope to capture better mountains and that real "fairy tale" look.
